AustMS Gazette Puzzle Corner 27

The Australian Mathematical Society Gazette’s Puzzle Corner is a regular column with
entertaining mathematical puzzles, here’s an example:

"Crease length

A rectangular sheet of paper is folded once so that two diagonally opposite corners
coincide. If the crease formed has the same length as the longer side of the rectangle,
what is the ratio of the longer side to the shorter side?"
